LessonLink Family Accounts is a parent portal that gives competitive cheer gym families one place to enroll athletes, view schedules, pay balances, sign waivers, and receive announcements from their gym.

Parents and adult athletes have full self-service control through the Family Portal: they enroll athletes, view schedules, pay balances, sign waivers, and drop or cancel any enrollment without admin approval. Time-slot moves happen as a cancel-and-rebook with credits applying automatically. Gyms set the boundaries — when enrollment opens, lead times for changes, age and gender eligibility, and whether a program is open enrollment or invite-only. Adult athletes (18+) get standalone accounts.

Parents see every active and past enrollment, organized by athlete. Each enrollment shows the program name, dates, billing model, and price. Parents can drop or cancel any enrollment themselves; if they need to move to a different time slot, they cancel the current one (which generates a credit) and book the new one. The credit applies automatically. View the schedule. See exactly what’s coming.

Parents and adult athletes enroll themselves directly through the Family Portal — no admin approval required. They browse the program list, see what’s available, view dates and pricing, and enroll their athlete in one flow. They can also drop or cancel any enrollment themselves. To move between time slots — say, switching from a 5 PM class to a 6 PM class — they cancel the existing enrollment (which generates an account credit) and book the new one. The credit applies automatically to the new charge.

At the same time, your gym sets the rules of the road. You decide when enrollment opens, how far ahead an athlete can be enrolled, how much lead time is required to drop or cancel, what age or gender requirements apply, and whether a program is open enrollment or invite-only. Parents have flexibility within the boundaries you set.

Adult athletes (18+) get their own standalone accounts with the same self-service control over their own enrollment — no parent account required.
